La investigaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 siendo llevada por el fiscal especialista en delitos econ\u00f3micos del Tribunal Supremo, Juan Ignacio Campos.<\/p>\n<p>En un comunicado la Fiscal\u00eda ha informado de esta investigaci\u00f3n que va a tratar de <strong>delimitar o descartar<\/strong> la relevancia penal de los hechos ocurridos posterior a la abdicaci\u00f3n del rey em\u00e9rito en junio 2014, en ese <strong>momento quedo desprotegido de su inviolabilidad <\/strong>que le daba la Constituci\u00f3n como jefe del Estado. La investigaci\u00f3n se centra en la Fase II de la construcci\u00f3n del AVE que va entre las ciudades de Medina y la Meca.<\/p>\n<p>El consorcio de empresas espa\u00f1olas que realizaron la construcci\u00f3n lo componen; Adif, Cobra, Consultrans, Copasa, Dimetronic, Imathia, Inabensa, Ineco, Indra, OHL, Renfe y Talgo, tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n dos empresas saud\u00edes; Al Shoula y Al Rosan.<\/p>\n<p>La intermediaci\u00f3n del rey em\u00e9rito Juan Carlos I en el proyecto del AVE a La Meca se justificaba en el inter\u00e9s del grupo empresarial espa\u00f1ol en un proyecto de m\u00e1s de 60.000 millones y la proximidad del rey espa\u00f1ol con la familia real saud\u00ed.<\/p>\n<p>El contrato entre el consorcio Al Shoula, formado por las 12 empresas espa\u00f1olas y las saud\u00edes sufri\u00f3 diversos retrasos en la construcci\u00f3n de este y diversas disputas, entre las firmas que integraban el citado consorcio como con el Gobierno saud\u00ed.
