Nuestro objetivo principal es pas\u00e1rnoslo bien y que la gente se lo pase bien con nosotros. Obvio que contar con un productor tan ca\u00f1ero y disfrut\u00f3n como\u00a0<strong>Carlos (H\u00e9rnandez)<\/strong>\u00a0nos ha ayudado mucho a destilar nuestro propio estilo.\u201c<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Y ya hablando de este nuevo single nos cuentan: \u201c<strong>The World Is Ours\u00bb\u00a0<\/strong>es un tema muy Driive\u2026<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>con unas guitarras muy contundentes, unos estribillos altamente coreables y una base r\u00edtmica muy potente. Como dice el estribillo \u201c<em>el mundo es nuestro y no tenemos tiempo que perder\u201d&#8230;<\/em>\u00a0En este tema nos vamos de viaje e invitamos a todo el mundo a venir con nosotros.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Driive\u00a0<\/strong>estrenan junto con el single un lyric video a cargo de\u00a0<strong>Oyeme! Estudio.<\/strong>\u00a0Aunando un estilo \u201cc\u00f3mic\u201d y una est\u00e9tica \u201cpunk\u201d desenfadada, esta pieza audiovisual refleja fielmente el esp\u00edritu festivo y aventurero de The World Is Ours. Limitando la paleta de colores, el v\u00eddeo transmite sensaciones entre el \u201clo-fi\u201d y el \u201cpulp\u201d muy en la l\u00ednea minimalista de la producci\u00f3n del tema.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Ellos son Brian \u201cThe Brain\u201d a la voz, Coke \u201cPsychoJoe\u201d y Alex \u201cFrequency\u201d a las guitarras, \u201cEl Santo JOB\u201d al bajo y Hoss \u201cFactory\u201d a la bater\u00eda.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Culminando un a\u00f1o que los ha llevado por escenarios como \u201cEl Perro\u2026\u201d\u00a0 en Madrid, \u201cSidecar\u201d en Barcelona, \u201cLa F\u00e1brica de Chocolate\u201d en Vigo o el \u201cCooltural Fest\u201d en Almer\u00eda y calentitos tras su paso por los \u201cConciertos de Radio3\u201d, podremos verlos en directo en el\u00a0<strong>concierto presentaci\u00f3n de su LP \u00abConspire\u00bb el 30 de noviembre en Tempo Club (Madrid).<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"DRIIVE - The World Is Ours (V\u00eddeo Oficial)\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/dvfwppLbt6U?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>La banda de rock alternativo con voz en ingl\u00e9s\u00a0<strong>Driive\u00a0<\/strong>nace en Madrid, durante el a\u00f1o 2015, de las cenizas de un proyecto anterior conocido como\u00a0<strong>The<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>Persistence of Vision<\/strong>. Tres de los integrantes de este grupo, los\u00a0guitarristas\u00a0<strong>Alex G\u00f3mez<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Jose Luis Estrada<\/strong>\u00a0junto con el cantante\u00a0<strong>Brian Ambite<\/strong>,\u00a0deciden fundar una nueva banda. Se les unir\u00e1n\u00a0<strong>Jose Manuel Ruiz\u00a0<\/strong>a la bater\u00eda y J<strong>uan Olivares<\/strong>\u00a0al bajo.\u00a0Cada uno de los miembros de la banda aporta una serie de influencias que van desde el<em>\u00a0punk rock<\/em>\u00a0(Bad Religion, NOFX) y el\u00a0<em>rock alternativo<\/em>\u00a0(Pavement, Dinosaur Jr) hasta el\u00a0<em>noise\u00a0<\/em>(The Velvet underground, Sonic Youth) y el\u00a0<em>post punk revival<\/em>\u00a0(The Strokes, Bloc Party). Estas referencias unidas a la huella dejada por la escena\u00a0<em>Techno House<\/em>\u00a0y la\u00a0<em>cultura rave<\/em>\u00a0en varios miembros de la banda acabaron dando como resultado el\u00a0<strong>estilo Dance Punk\u00a0<\/strong>tan caracter\u00edstico de\u00a0<strong>Driive<\/strong>, presente en muchas composiciones del grupo.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Su EP debut,\u00a0<strong>Strange is Good (2017)<\/strong>, es una fusi\u00f3n de sonidos y ritmos Alt-Rock y Post-Grunge. Fue grabado con Javier Ortiz en Estudio Brasil en Madrid.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Su primer LP \u00ab<strong>Hideaway (2018)<\/strong>\u00ab, grabado y mezclado junto a Juan Blas en Westline Studios y masterizado en Ultramarinos Mastering, signific\u00f3 el inicio de la creaci\u00f3n de un espacio que\u00a0<strong>Driive<\/strong>\u00a0puede considerar realmente como propio.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>En 2019,\u00a0<strong>Driive<\/strong>\u00a0entra a formar parte del \u201croster\u201d de artistas de Polar Management &amp; Booking (Barcelona) significando un impulso a su carrera y permitiendo a la banda aparecer en escenarios de toda Espa\u00f1a desde entonces hasta hoy.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>En 2020, con la firme intenci\u00f3n de continuar elevando su calidad musical,\u00a0<strong>Driive\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>comienza a trabajar con el productor\u00a0<strong>Luca Petricca\u00a0<\/strong>de Estudios Reno (Izal, Le\u00f3n Benavente, Novedades Carminha). Fruto de esta colaboraci\u00f3n, editan\u00a0<strong>Revelation &#8217;91 (2020) The Intruder (2020)<\/strong>, dos sencillos llenos de energ\u00eda que consiguieron difusi\u00f3n en algunos de los principales programas de radio de la escena \u201cindie\u201d nacional.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>In\u00a0<strong>2022\u00a0<\/strong>lanzan el\u00a0<strong>EP Monsters<\/strong>, grabado tambi\u00e9n con\u00a0<strong>Luca Petricca\u00a0<\/strong>en Estudios Reno y masterizado por Fred Kevorkian (Iggy Pop, White Stripes, The National).<strong>\u00a0Monsters<\/strong>\u00a0recopila los sencillos anteriores y a\u00f1ade nuevas canciones que consolidan a\u00fan m\u00e1s a\u00a0<strong>Driive<\/strong>\u00a0como una propuesta diferente y excitante dentro del panorama del rock alternativo en Espa\u00f1a.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>In<strong>\u00a02023<\/strong>\u00a0la banda se encierra durante una semana junto al productor\u00a0<strong>Carlos Hern\u00e1ndez\u00a0<\/strong>(Los Planetas, Airbag, Carolina Durante, Tri\u00e1ngulo de Amor Bizarro), en su estudio\u00a0<strong>El Castillo Alem\u00e1n,<\/strong>\u00a0para grabar y producir el que consideran el mejor trabajo de su carrera.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Este LP compuesto por ocho canciones y que llevar\u00e1 por t\u00edtulo\u00a0<strong>\u00abConspire\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0se publicar\u00e1 en noviembre.\u00a0Navega entre el \u201cgarage rock\u201d, el \u201cdance punk\u201d y el \u201cindie pop\u201d, es sin lugar a dudas su trabajo m\u00e1s maduro, emocionante y contundente hasta la fecha.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Supone la culminaci\u00f3n de la progresi\u00f3n del grupo consiguiendo evocar por momentos el sonido directo de The Hives y The Strokes, la rotundidad de los \u201criffs\u201d de Queens of the Stone Age o las propuestas m\u00e1s mel\u00f3dicas de Kings Of Leon.<u><\/u><u><\/u><\/p>\n<p>Driive ha lanzado durante\u00a0<strong>2024<\/strong>\u00a0los dos primeros singles de este disco, el rotundo<strong>\u00a0\u00abJoy Of Living\u00bb<\/strong>\u00a0, y su explosivo primer tema en castellano\u00a0<strong>\u00abAhora o Nunca<\/strong>\u00ab, consiguiendo una importante repercusi\u00f3n en medios y una gran aceptaci\u00f3n por parte de sus fans.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Driive\u00a0contin\u00faan su progresi\u00f3n hacia un rock m\u00e1s directo y divertido con \u00abThe World Is Ours\u00bb, tercer corte de su pr\u00f3ximo disco\u00a0\u201cConspire\u201d que ver\u00e1 la luz en noviembre de 2024.
