The plenary session debates on Tuesday the budget stability and public debt objectives for the period 2025-2027 and the non-financial spending limit of the budget for 2025.
Congress will propose ten members of the General Council of the Judiciary and will vote on the opinion of the Proposal for an Organic Law to reform the Organic Law of the Judiciary and the Organic Statute of the Public Prosecutor's Office.
– In addition, it will rule on the Senate amendments to the Organic Bill of equal representation and balanced presence of women and men and to the Bill to create the Authority for the Investigation of Railway, Maritime and Civil Aviation Accidents
– The Chamber will also decide on the validation or repeal of the Royal Decree-Law by which certain measures are extended to address the consequences derived from the conflicts in Ukraine and the Middle East and urgent measures are adopted in fiscal, energy and social matters.
The Plenary Session of Congress will debate this Tuesday, in an extraordinary session, the Government's agreements by which, on the one hand, the objectives of budgetary stability and public debt for this year are adjusted, a step prior to the presentation of the General State Budgets , and those for the period from 2024 to 2026 are established.
The session will begin at 10:00 a.m. with the debate on taking into consideration the Bill to modify the Organic Law on the rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and their social integration, at the initiative of the Socialist and SUMAR groups.
As stated in the explanatory memorandum, the text intends to introduce a new article in the Organic Law on Immigration "this law with the purpose of declaring the existence of situations of extraordinary migratory contingency in the territories mainly affected (Canary Islands, Ceuta and Melilla) and the consequent approval of the Response Plan for such situations.”
