100 municipalities will mobilize again on February 25 shouting “Let's stop the genocide in Palestine”
  • Ecologists in Action joins the initiative of the Solidarity Network Against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP) which, for the second time, calls for a day of state mobilization with demonstrations and concentrations spread across 100 municipalities in the Spanish State.
  • Citizens will take to the streets next Sunday, February 25, to demand that the Government put an end to the arms trade and relations with Israel, as well as an end to the massacre in Palestine.

According to information made public on February 12, Foreign Minister José Manuel Albares lied repeatedly about the suspension of arms sales to Israel. For this reason, the Solidarity Network Against the Occupation of Palestine claims that "now, more than ever, is the time for Spain to act, join the South African demand and impose sanctions on Israel to force its government to comply with the law."

On January 20, more than 500,000 people demonstrated in 91 municipalities of the Spanish State demanding that the Government sever relations with Israel and an arms embargo. Next Sunday, February 25, the second day of state mobilization has been called by the Solidarity Network Against the Occupation of Palestine (RESCOP), to which Ecologists in Action will join again.

On this occasion, citizens will take to the streets in 100 municipalities to demand that the Government and the parties that support it pressure and take immediate measures to defend human rights in Palestine, if they do not want to become accomplices in this genocide.

Next Sunday's mobilization will be led by the following slogans: “Let's stop the genocide in Palestine”; “End the arms trade and relations with Israel”; “Enough of the complicity of the Government and companies”; and "Long live the struggle of the Palestinian people!"
