We leave you the update and the latest news on COVID-19 in Spain. According to the new notification format of the Ministry of Health.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 115,641 people have died, according to the Ministry of Health.

Today, Friday, there are 21,896 new infections and 78 deaths.

By autonomous communities: Community of Madrid 5,214; Catalonia 4,111; Valencian Community 2,013; Euskadi 1,684; Andalusia 1,594; Castile and Leon 1,405; Canary Islands 1,169; Galicia 1,152. The other communities are below 1,000 cases.

As of today, Tuesday, 3,813 people have been admitted to hospitals. 204 patients have been admitted to ICUs for COVID-19.

The 14-day cumulative incidence rate in those over 60 years of age is 181.80. The number of beds occupied in ICUs is 2.32% and 3.07% of the total.

The number of infected people in Spain is now 13,573,721.
