Soul happy is a carefree song, based on the soul-hip hop of artists such as Samm Henshaw and Masego. The song talks about seeing life from another, calmer perspective, with personal relationships being much more important than daily worries.
Mixing samples from soul artist Marvin Gaye, a soul-hip hop drum, saxophone, piano, etc., you get a happy, danceable song with a message that resonates beyond the music itself.
The single is accompanied by a captivating video clip that
mixes the aesthetics of the 90s with more cinematic elements, the video clip for Soul Happy, directed by Nuria Vizcaíno Cobos “Envis”, transports us to a fun kitchen with three workers turning it upside down. Through the process of making a pizza, we leave behind daily worries to value what is really important: the people around us.
Within Mardom's project, the audiovisual plays a fundamental role, as we already saw in his short film “Asyncronos” or the latest video clip directed by himself, “Enero”. This time, joining forces with Envis, the production reaches a new perspective, significantly enriching the project.
